Can I add more funds to a participant's incentive?

You can edit an incentive amount before it has been released. Once an incentive has been released, the amount cannot be changed. If you need to pay a participant an additional amount, create a new assignment for that participant within the same project.

Can I have the same participant in a project more than once?

Yes. You can add the same participant to a project multiple times as separate assignments. Each assignment must use the participant's correct email address. Do not add two different people under the same email address.

Can I cancel an incentive?

Yes, as long as the incentive has not yet been paid. Once a payment has been completed, it cannot be cancelled. To cancel, select the participant's incentive and choose Cancel.

Why is a participant showing as 'Under Review'?

The payment has been temporarily blocked because Ayda's fraud detection system identified activity that requires manual checking. You must review the payment and either approve or cancel it before it can proceed. This feature is only active if the Payment Review toggle is enabled on your account.

Why didn't my participant receive an email?

This can happen if:

  • The participant's email address in the platform is incorrect
  • The email has been filtered into the participant's spam or junk folder
  • The participant's inbox is full

First confirm the email address in the participant record is correct. If it is correct, ask the participant to check their spam folder for emails from Ayda (postman@helloayda.com). If the problem persists, contact support@helloayda.com.

What payment methods does Ayda support?

Ayda supports direct bank transfer (60+ countries), PayPal (190+ countries), and vouchers/gift cards. The available options for each participant depend on the payment routes enabled for your project and the participant's country. To add or change payment routes, go to the Routes tab in your project settings. Contact support@helloayda.com if you need additional payment options.

What happens if a participant enters incorrect payment details?

The participant should log in to their Ayda account, update their payment details, and contact support@helloayda.com. Incorrect details may delay or prevent payment.

How do I check my notifications?

Select the notification icon in the left-hand menu within the platform. Notifications contain important updates, alerts, and platform information.

What currencies does Ayda support?

Ayda supports payment in local currencies for 60+ countries for direct bank transfer. Your project currency is set when you create the project. For questions about specific currency support or exchange rates, contact accounts@helloayda.com.

What happens to an incentive the participant never claims?

Unclaimed incentives remain in Released status. If a participant does not claim within the expiry period, the incentive will expire and the funds will be returned to your project's available balance. You will be notified before expiry so you can follow up with the participant if needed. Contact support@helloayda.com for the specific expiry timeframe for your account.
