Understanding VAT Invoices in Ayda

How VAT Invoices Are Issued

For customers using Ayda on a Pay As You Go basis, fees in Ayda are only charged when incentives are released. When you transfer funds to your Ayda Wallet, no fees are deducted, and the full amount remains available for withdrawal at any time. Because of this, VAT invoices are not issued for wallet top-ups.

Key points about VAT invoicing:

VAT invoices are project-specific. Since incentives within a project can be released at different times, you may receive multiple VAT invoices for the same project.

The system processes VAT invoices three times per month and automatically sends them on the first working day of the following month, covering all transactions from the previous month.

You can adjust the frequency of receiving VAT invoices in your account settings to receive it as generated.

How VAT Totals Are Calculated

VAT is applied only to Ayda’s service fees and not to the incentive amounts. To ensure clarity and compliance:

VAT invoices show the fee amount plus VAT as the total.

Incentive amounts still appear on the invoice for reference but are not included in the total invoice value.

This format is designed to clearly separate service fees (which are subject to VAT) from incentives (which are not).

Note: This format applies to VAT invoices only and does not affect pro forma invoices.

Where to Find Your VAT Invoices

You can access VAT invoices in two ways:

Finance Contact Email: Invoices are sent directly to the email address you’ve designated as your finance contact.

Project Settings in AydaVAT invoices are also available for download from the Project Settings.
