What Is a Trust Score?

Modified on Wed, 13 May at 11:27 AM

A Trust Score is Ayda’s GDPR-compliant way of showing the reliability of a participant without exposing sensitive personal data.

Ayda uses a simple colour-based system to help researchers quickly understand participant reliability:

  • Green — High reliability
The participant has a strong history of genuine participation.
  • Amber — Medium reliability
The participant may have quality concerns that should be reviewed.
  • Red — Low reliability
The participant has shown behaviour that may indicate suspicious activity, or failed validation checks.

The Trust Score is designed to support better research quality while remaining privacy-focused and compliant with GDPR requirements.

Researchers can use Trust Scores to:

  • Identify reliable participants
  • Reduce fraudulent responses
  • Improve overall data quality

Trust Scores are automatically updated based on participant activity and behaviour across the platform.
