What Are the Different Incentive Statuses in My Project

Modified on Wed, 13 May at 2:39 PM

Each incentive in Ayda moves through a series of statuses reflecting where it is in the payment process. Use this reference to understand what each status means and what action (if any) you need to take.

Status

What it means

Action required

Planned

Participant added; incentive amount set but no funds allocated yet. Participant cannot claim.

None — or edit/adjust amount if needed.

Allocated

Funds reserved for this participant. Not yet available for other use. Participant still cannot claim.

None — ready to release when you choose.

Released

Incentive made available. Participant notified by email. Waiting for participant to claim.

None — monitor for claim. Resend email if needed.

Under Review

Fraud detection has flagged this payment. Payment blocked pending manual review.

Approve or cancel the payment in the incentive record.

Paid

Participant has claimed and payment is complete.

None — lifecycle complete.

Balance terminology

You may also see the following terms in your project overview:

  • Committed incentives — all incentives in Allocated, Released, or Paid status. These funds are earmarked and cannot be used elsewhere.
  • Available balance — funds still available in the project, including unused funds, cancelled incentives, and adjustments.
  • Shortfall — a negative balance. You need to add more funds before you can release further incentives.
  • Excess — more funds available than currently needed. These can be used for additional incentives or returned when closing the project.
